False pos HSV2 test: This is a common problem with the HSV2 blood tests. An index value over 1.1 is officially positive, but yours was barely positive at 1.16. The test is not reliably positive unless way higher, 3.5 or more. Your subsequent negative result shows the first was a false positive. For sure you don't have HSV2. If you don't have symptoms to suggest new genital herpes, you don't need another test.
