Im have a pricking pain in my chest.. exactly where the heart is.. is this starting of heart attack?

Hard to say: Would need more description of the pain along with other information. Usually heart attack pain is described as feeling like a heavy pressure or like an "elephant sitting on the chest." Would be helpful to know if you had associated symptoms and what your medical history is. Best to discuss with your doctor and not ignore it. It can be due to other things too.
