Many factors. HT Pri: The pulse pressure is just 1 of many numbers on a blood pressure recording that has information for doctors. While the "normal" pulse pressure is about 40 mmHg, with a range you mentioned, a pulse pressure outside of that range may not be significant. In general, a high pulse pressure is worse than a low one, but it also depends on the NUMBER of the systolic (upper)reading. TTYD or HealthTap Prime
