Can an abdominal ultrasound visualise the stomach itself? like if there is stomach cancer

No: Screening usually is done with a upper endoscopy or double-contrast barium radiographs with photofluorography or digital radiography in someone with symptoms or family history of stomach or colon cancer. U.S. has low incidence of gastric cancer thus if no symptoms or family history screening is not necessary.
