Unlikely: the protein in the nuts is the culprit, so it would be the other way around, I.e. the whole crude nut would cause the symptoms,not the processed one,as in theory the processed protein would be broken down decreasing its potential to cause allergy. That said,it would another ingredient (s) used in the processing that would be causing the problem, avoid whatever is causing you trouble,C an allergist
