When in doubt,2nd op: Second opinion from another pediatric oncologist is your best choice when you are in doubt. Sometimes it is possible to save the affected eye...it all depends on the size/stage of cancer...only bigger tumors may need surgery. This tumor is very sensitive to chemotherapy which will regress it , hopefully completely in which case, I suspect, the eye can be saved. But do seek a second opinion...even
