A member asked:

Is it common for young children to complain about pain when they get a crown on their tooth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: With appropriate anesthesia procedure should be painless. Tooth may be sore for a few days after procedure, but pain should subside after 24 hours. If pain persists return to Treating General Dentist or specialist Pediatric Dentist for reevaluation and appropriate treatment.
