Mildly helpful: First, make sure you aren't having early anaphylaxis (generalized shock). If only heat hives (small, pinpoint) my experience is that cetirizine (or levocetirizine) combined with ranitidine (H2 antihistamine), either once or twice a day might work a little better. If not, you'll need stronger antihistamines like hydroxyzine (don't drive or operate machinery); at that point get seen by a doctor.
