I read on the internet that it is often more effective to alternate days taking zyrtec and allegra, (fexofenadine) than just one drug alone. is that true? -allergies

For many, yes.: Pharmacologically it does not make a lot of sense, but any severe or chronic allergy sufferer will tell you that one med seems to lose effectiveness after a while and if use other, it works again when return to using it.
