Uticaria,itching 2 days tried10mg antihistimine failed.gp prescribed fexofenadine hydrochloride daily tablet 120mg taken 11am off label for uticaria if it doesn't work at this dose can i take another 120mg which would be seperated by 12hrs at 11pm?

It's not recommended to take more than 180 mgs a day of fexofenadine but much higher doses for stubborn hives have been safely used in some studies. In my experience hydroxyzine is the most potent antihistamine and has been most effective in the treatment of hives. Other treatments are available but I recommend consulting an allergist if you're not improved.
