Maybe...: it all depends on whether that stone decides to move and clog your bile duct. That is what commonly causes the pain and the need for immediately surgery. Try to avoid eating fried, greasy, fatty foods. Make sure you keep your appointments with your doctor so that they can monitor the stone.
