Lump under the skin: Small lumps or bumps under the skin that can move when you touch it, is not fixed to the underlying tissue, has been present for a long period of time, and hasn't changed in size over a short time period is usually a sign of something benign. However, the exact diagnosis has a wide range. If it is painful or bothersome to you - I would seek someone out to have it properly evaluated.
