Yes: The Western blot is a more direct measurement than Elisa.

I tested positive for a Serology Lyme ELISA so my blood was sent to a specialised lab where it tested negative on a C6 Lyme ELISA and therefore wasn't sent for a Western blot. Is the C6 ELISA more or less accurate? Does this mean Lyme or not? Thanks?
With lyme disease you have ELISA and western blot but what if you tested ELISA negative is Lyme disease impossible? Or wise to do western blot?
My dr. Did Western blot for Lyme. Both IGM and IGG came back positive. Have enough bands to diagnose according to the CDC. No Elisa. Is it ok?
