I was prescribed tramodal today from my doctor. i was asked to fill out a narcotic awareness form. i thought it was not a narcotic. am i wrong?

Tramadol is not: a narcotic by pharmacology. However it has addictive qualities similar to narcotics which can be exploited by those who are prone to addiction.
