Polyarthritis: Studies show a symmetrical polyarthritis could be rheumatoid arthritis, a reactive arthritis, septic arthritis. This could be traumatic , vascular , infection/inflammation, related to metabolic or even neoplastic or autoimmune mechanisms. I suspect inflammatory arthritis, please see a Rheumatologist and get ANA, ESR, Anti CCP tests. Weight loss? Fever? Other symptoms? See MD for full exam please
