How long: How long have you been experiencing these symptoms? A good place to start is with any recent changes. If you have new shoes or have increased your activity lately these may be the cause. If you have experienced a fall or injury lately, you may have a sprain or bruise. RICE = Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Also try some tylenol or motrin to see if this helps with the pain.
