Left lower pain: Left lower abdominal pain with a negative colonoscopy and gyn evaluation raises the suspicion of diverticular disease which is sometimes missed on colonoscopy. Has your gynecologist ruled out endometriosis as a cause? If so, consider a barium enema examination if your symptoms persist or if you have any associated bowel symptoms or episodes after eating harsh roughage(salads, nuts, raw veggies).
