Menstrual blood: It is common to have some cycle variation from time to time. It it came at the normal time then there is not likely be a cause for concern. The color of menstrual blood reflects how long it has been siting in the vagina and undergoing a chemical process called oxidation. If you would like more cycle control consider starting birth control.
