Can acne cause swollen lymph nodes and is it normal to feel lymph nodes in a teenager?

Sometimes: Lymph nodes are commonly felt in the head and neck because they are not buried in fat or muscle like they are in the rest of the body. Skin irritation,bug bites,acne and or illness can cause transient swelling in nodes. They usually enlarge/shrink over a 3-6 wk cycle but may persist when the triggering problems remain.
