Anxiety possible: If you are under a lot of stress, tht can trigger anxiety which can feel like heart palpatations. You need to know if tthe cause is medidcal, emotional or both. See your physiciaan for a checkup. Also Ask her to recommend a psychologist for and aassessment and consult. Ask the two Dr.'s tto coordinate your care. Yes: Stress can cause palpitations. Others caused include caffeine and nicotine. Dehydration can also contribute. If you have no prior history of heart problems, these are very likely benign.
