Yes: Stress and a anxiety have direct relationship to arrhythmia and subsequent palpitations(symptomatic). Other patients can have arrhythmia and remain asymptomatic. If palpitation is present, there are a series of evaluation (physical examination, history, diagnostic tests and labs), which may be necessary to rule out any serious situations.
