A member asked:

What's a woman's odds of having plaque in her arteries by age 56? angiogram showed clean, but she's been obese for many years. could it be false neg?

I trust it: Obesity itself is actually not a risk, though it is a marker for hypertension, diabetes, and lack of exercise which are. The sumo athletes of Japan are obese but have no coronary risk. And I have autopsied plenty of obese folks with great vessels. A lot is genetic.
