MRSA: Mrsa is a drug resistant strain of staph aureus. It is an increasing problem. Many are only colonized with it, but it can be a serious issue in some persons. Search for the pbs frontline documentary called "hunting the nightmare bacteria." http://www.Pbs.Org/wgbh/pages/frontline/hunting-the-nightmare-bacteria/ mrsa can be treated (for now, anyway) with some non-penicillin antibiotics.
