Acne: Neomycin is not used for acne. Start with using benzoyl peroxide cream twice daily to the pimples. Use a mild soap to wash the skin prior to applying the benzoyl peroxide. See your doctor if your acne persists. Depending upon the severity of the acne your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to take by mouth or an antibiotic cream or gel.
