A member asked:

My mom had an acoustic neuroma at 35, lobular bc at 54, her mom had pancreatic ca at 71, aunt had colon ca at 65 and uncle has esophageal at 65.lynch?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: The pathology folks may have checked the genetics of your aunt's tumor and/or reported whether the histopathology looked like Lynch's. The breast cancer, acoustic neuroma, pancreatic cancer, and esophageal carcinoma aren't suggesting Lynch's. At these ages, this isn't rare in families with good vascular health -- live longer & so greater lifetime cancer risk. Great question though.
