Often costochondriti: Many people get rib pain and there are many causes. An orthopedic cause is costochondritis which is inflammation of the rib cage. In the differential could be zoster which often is on the ribs or problems in the lungs. Other dermatologic causes exist including skin rashes and burns. To find out exactly what it is, you should see your doctor and get treated.
