Be seen: I would not hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis. Did you injure it? If it is so severe that you can not walk it suggests something pretty serious. Among possible considerations would be an occult fracture, an internal derangement of the knee, a sciatica from the irritation of a nerve in the back among other possible considerations.
