MS: These scattered sharp shooting pains in different parts of the body are not necessarily characteristic of MS, but indicate an irritability of superficial nerves. Often in my experience the cause is elusive and usually nonserious. I would check for vitamin B12 or thiamine (vitamin B1)deficiency and diabetes. Consult a neurologist as needed.
