Wait : Studies show that a full history and physical /focus head and neck /thyroid indicated. Ultrasound is done first and lab work if indicated then referral to a specialist in this case ENT. FNAC is not perfect but if the biopsy was performed correctly the pathology under the microscope should be diagnostic but sampling error does occur was it guided?Please read this. http://tinyurl.com/z7twwrm
