LSIL?: This suggests your pap smear showed mild dysplasia, also called LSIL (low grade squamous intra-epithelial lesion) -- or, if you have had a biopsy, CIN I (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, grade I). LSIL/CIN 1 rarely progresses to more serious disease and clears up on its own, usually within a year. It usually doesn't need LEEP or other treatment. Discuss with your doctor to clarify.
