Lab tests,lab tests!: Test results must always be interpreted in a context. You probably remember the SAT's. The average was 500 and 68% of students got between 400 and 600. But if you got a 601 or a 399 you were just outside one standard deviation from the average. Your WBC was just slightly lower than the "normal" range. If you are feeling fine "furgetaboutit" as they say in Brooklyn. Worry about the Donald!!

Low normal WBC: WBC result is low normal. If there is any concern this may be repeated in 6 to 12 weeks

Just noticed during my last few phyisicals, my WBC has been low. 4.1 in May 2016, 4.5 in 2015 and 4.8 in 2013. 2 doctors and a NP didn't seem worried. Whenever I look online it says could be cancer. Why isn't it a concern?
