Can i drink a little bit of alcohol while on the antibiotic augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate)? maybe a couple of glasses of wine or a beer?

Augmentin and a moderate amount of alcohol should cause no problems. Some other antibiotics can cause more problems

Alcohol suppresses our immune responses, which is why people with chronic problematic alcohol use get more infections which may be more unusual or severe. In "social" doses (less than 2 drinks/day for men under 60 and 1 drink/day for men over 60 and women). Since you are both over 60 and a woman, I would limit it to a SINGLE standard drink (5 oz wine or 12 oz beer).
