Augmentin- ok: In moderation, a beer while on Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) (amoxicillin-clavulanate) is ok. Others abx like trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and metronidazole can cause a Disulfiram -like reaction similar the drug, Antabuse - resulting in violent vomiting.
