Eye: a photo will help. depends what part of eye it is. on the cornea could be a ptregium. on the lens could be early cataract.

Not enough info!: Where is the white film? Is it over the colored part of your eye (the iris), at the edges of the iris & the white part of your eye (conjunctiva)? Look up pictures of pinquecula & pterygium and see if those are what you are describing. If not, please give more info. Certainly, no matter what we say, any new changes like this should be evaluated by an eye doctor. So schedule an appt with one soon.
