Yes: Some people are super sensitive to serotonergic medications (like Viibryd) and that "zapped" sensation is typical especially during changes, i.e. initiation of a new medication, dose changes (up or down) or discontinuation. This side effect often resolves on its own, but may not. I imagine your doctor is tapering you - he or she may want to slow that taper even further to allow your body to adjust
