Possible: if it is hot and red and painful to the touch it is likely infected; see your doctor if just a little pink only then likely not. keep clean and dry and apply a topical antibiotic ointment to it 2-3 times a day.

Normal healing: Healing wounds are always warm. Increased blood flow is part of healing. Will also be pink. Keep lubricated with vaseline or Aquaphor. Bacitracin and neosporin are of no benefit and often cause allergic reactions. They are best discarded. Avoid using antibiotics or antiseptics on healing wounds. Water is good.
