Hi, my mom 68yo, had endoscopy the other day. last night she noticed her feet swollen. can water retention be posibly caused by endoscopy? thank you

It is unlikely: that water retention could be caused by endoscopy but potentially she was given excessive IV fluids during the procedure or was told to drink a lot of fluids after the procedure.
