4 weeks post-tumour excision (whipple - recovering well). ferritin 6400, iron sat 90%. does this need treatment & if so what is the treatment?

Ferritin: This is a protein that carries Iron. In this case it is elevated. Probably secondary to your tumor and your recent surgery. I would not treat this other than recover.

Congrats!: Glad you are recovering well from the surgery. Ferritin levels can be elevated for 3-4 mos after this kind of surgery just due to the infflammation from surgery. I wouldn't worry about those test results, unless they are that high at 4 months post surg.
