Yes- great fixes: Stay on prescribed medication for 4 weeks. Get an abdominal ultrasound, CBC, liver function and pancreatic function testing. Sorry: no quick home remedies.

Gastritis: Check for H pylori , check for eosinophilic gastritis, also check thyroid -hyperactive thyroid can exacerbate Check gastrin levels.. Sometimes changing to another PPI may be effective , If on Nexium take 40 mg not 20. Consider adding Carafate. Avoid triggers like alcohol caffeine, energy drinks, sodas, spicy foods, Check for food intolerences , milk ,gluten,soy.F/U w GI
