This is: NORMAL when you stand up your BP should go up along with slight increase in heart rate. Tachycardia is NOT normal and may simply be due to dehydration(Try drinking more fluids!) or DECONDITIONING .you may do well with a supervised exercise program! Hope this is helpful' Dr Z
