Probably but...: As far as I can tell no one knows for sure. There was one study showing a reduction of T3 and T4 in mice given aloe, but that doesn't mean it would do the same for people. Some recommend it for hyperthyroidism and thyroiditis because it helps balance immune function but I don't know of studies on this. I consider it benign and it does have proven benefits. Likely safe but monitor thyroid function.
