I get menstrual migraines & am in a rural area. have seen 3 docs who don't know what to do with me anymore. they are angry when a medication/treatment isn't effective. i get upset too, i don't want to be in this much pain but i'm out of options help!

It sounds like all: of you are very frustrated but your doctors shouldn't get angry. Most migraneurs can be treated successful. Tricyclclic antidepressants, B-blockers & calcium channel blockers are potential preventive therapies. Aspirin with caffeine & other OTC's, anti-nausea meds, triptans,magnesium, steroids, extra fluids and ergots can treat migraine after it starts. Don't give up! Dr. Anne
