I had a yeast infection 2 weeks ago my doc gave me te fluconazole pill i'm still red will it go away oh and i just started my period help?

Resistant yeast?: Yeast symptoms should have cleared up within a few days of taking fluonazole, maybe need an additional dose. Also, some yeasts are resistant to fluconazole and other "azole" drugs. But redness alone may not mean anything; itching and irritation are more important symptoms. Return to your doctor to confirm whether you still have a yeast infection and perhaps further treatment.
