It depends on how: varied your son's diet is. If he eats a variety of food (protein, veggies, fruits, complex carbs) he doesn't need a supplement. If he's a fussy eater, a children's multi-vitamin with iron is sufficient. If he has any medical problems, speak with his pediatrician.
