BPPV: The amount of time to train the brain to adapt to the symptoms of BPPV is unknown. Particularly with hormonal changes of menstruation, the intermittent appearance of symptoms complicates VBRT effectiveness. There are medications to consider, although side effects are abundant with meclizine, scopolamine, and clonazepam. Surgery would be a last resort only if other treatment failed.
