Diabetes nerve pain: 35 F: notes/asks:Gastro paresis, high BG fasting, extreme fatigue, pins/needles, majority of nerve damage symptoms, blurred vision, etc but all tests negative for diab? ANS: All tests is a very broad term. But my guess is that it is not diabetes or the blood tests are wrong. Was HbA1c tested? If not so. Best diabetes test to Dx.

Likely DM: If you have a high fasting blood glucose then you meet criteria for prediabetes. You may not meet criteria for diabetes by a large portion of physicians don't believe that an A1C of 6.5 is what is required for a diagnosis of diabetes. Much lower values can indicate diabetes. The symptoms you describe all are consistent with diabetes. Next is to discuss ways you can reverse and prevent progression

Polyneuropathy...: What you describe is a polyneuropathy or mononeuropathy multiplex. The most common cause prob is DM but it is far from only & you say all tests for DM neg, 'all' is a very strong comment & some people get neuropathies w/pre-DM. What rests were done. Any one can be "false neg'. Also many non-DM causes: B12 def, MS, vasculitis, HIV, CIDP, immune...need more info! DM poss, but also many other poss.
