A member asked:

Is hvp a systemic virus or localized to one area? so if i get a genital wart is it possible to get them other places, like on my face?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: There are many strains of HPV, some cause cancer, some genital warts, some cause warts on other parts of the body. Having one type of HPV does not protect you against other stains. You should get HPV vaccine. You may consult this site for more info on this topic. http://www.cdc.gov/STD/HPV/STDFact-HPV.htm
