Don't increase. : Don't increase it. But try to see what flared you up, a recent infection? Stress? Dietary change? It's better to stay the course with Pentasa unless your symptoms last more than 3-5 days. Try adding a little fiber to bulk stools.

Well : Only your treating physician who knows your case should give you advice or treatment . To change your medications it's not wise to self medicate or change medications dosages on your own

No: whether dose of pentasa can be increased or not depends on what dose of pentasa you are but that also has to be done only in discussion with your GP or specialist. usually most people are given short course of steroids to tide over small changes. Please see your GP

Liaise with your GP: Any changes to dosages of long term medications should be done in consultation with your GP. Do not adjust the medication dosage yourself
