Is the cut lined up?: As long as there's not infection and the edges of the wound line up then there's a good chance that it will heal with less scarring. If any doubt best to get a doctor or nurse to check it.

Depends: Depends on the depth and width of cut. A scar will always result. Can be minimized by scar revision by facial plastic surgeon.
