Dry Socket,: The most common complication after an extraction , dry socket, occurs when the blood clot does not form well resulting in pain which can radiate to other parts of the head snd neck. The possibility of tooth or bone spicules remnants not allowing proper healing. Must be considered. Call your dentist who performed extraction ASAP.

Most common cause of the symptoms describe is a dry socket (clot washes out exposing bone which becomes infected).
